Documents – what and when
When you registered your account with us we confirmed your identity but you may have been automatically verified via our 3rd party provider and we may need to ask you to submit documents when your spending or withdrawals reach certain levels.
The easiest document to send us is your driving licence (or provisional licence) as this shows your date of birth and address.
But if you do not have a driving licence, you can send us a copy of your passport along with a utility bill dated within the last 3 months.
Driving licence
Your driving licence must be fully visible with the edges clearly shown, with no part of the document covered. It must show your full name, your date of birth, your home address and your country. Your licence should be fully valid and in date, with the expiry date clearly visible. Provisional driving licences are perfectly acceptable.
Passport
Your passport must be fully visible with the edges clearly shown, with no part of the document covered. It must show your full name, your date of birth and your country. Again, your passport should be fully valid and in date, with the expiry date clearly visible
Utility bill
You may verify your address with a utility bill, such as a gas, electricity, water or telephone bill. The bill may not be more than 3 months old and should clearly show your name and home address. The document must be fully visible with the edges clearly shown.
Significant withdrawals and deposits
Whenever you would like to make a significant withdrawal or deposit, we may need to make sure that you are the holder of the corresponding bank account or debit card.
To make your withdrawal or deposit as straightforward as possible, you may wish to provide the following information in advance so that your account is ready.
Debit card
We will need to see the front and back of the debit card that you have used for your Lottoland account. The card owner’s full name, the first 4 and last 4 digits of the card number, please cover the middle 8 digits, the card expiry date and the signature strip (you can cover the 3-digit CVC number) should all be clearly visible.
Bank statement
Your bank statement should correspond with the bank account into which you would like to make your withdrawal / from which you would like to make a Lottoland deposit.
The date of issue (the statement must not be more than 3 months old), your full name, your home address and your account number should all be clearly visible.
For significant payouts of more than £10million we will require documents to be notarised prior to the payout being made.
Affordability
We take player protection very seriously. Gambling should be fun and you should never gamble more than you can afford.
For this reason, we may need to check that your levels of spending with us are within your means. We may ask you to explain how you fund your gambling with us and may request an affordability check. You may be asked to provide evidence of earning or other documents verifying a reliable source of income or wealth.

Routine checks
From time to time, we like to check that all the documents we have on file for you are still valid and up-to-date and we may request your most recent documents.
For security reasons, you will need to send any verification documents from the email address registered to your Lottoland account.
Please also make sure that you provide a high-quality copy of your documents and that the information they contain is easy to read.
