£3 for 3 Draws!

Irish Lotto: Big Changes!

Changes have been made to the two Irish Lotto+ games so as to increase the prize money on offer. These are the first changes to the Irish Lotto+ extra draws in sixteen years and the result has been that the top prize has doubled to £900,000. Extra prize tiers have also been added to mean that there will be more winners in future from the Irish Lotto +1 and Lotto +2 games.

Couple checking Irish Lotto results on their laptop

The Irish Lotto has long been a favourite with lottery players from all over the world thanks to its generous jackpots, friendly odds and the fact that you can opt in to two lucrative bonus games for a small extra supplement.

Changes to Irish Lotto+ Games

Since the first of September, the cost of playing the Irish Lotto +1 and Irish Lotto +2 has risen from 50p to a pound, with the £2 price of a line in the main Irish Lotto game staying the same. Nobody likes to see the price of entering the lotto increase, but in this case there is a considerable silver lining. The top prize on offer from the Irish Lotto +1 game has doubled from £450,000 to £900,000, making this one of the most lucrative extra lottery draws around.

What's more, extra prize tiers have been added to both the Irish Lotto +1 and +2 games. Now if you get 3 numbers in Irish Lotto +2 you win £2.70, while 2 numbers and a bonus ball for both Irish Lotto +1 and +2 will earn you a prize of £1.70. Check out the tables below to see the prize tables for both of the bonus Irish Lotto+ games:

Betting on the Irish Lotto Online with Lottoland

The main Irish Lotto game remains unchanged, both in terms of the jackpots on offer and also the cost of a line bet. One line costs £2, although if you are one of the 90% of people who choose to try their luck on the Irish Lotto +1 and +2 games as well thanks to their great value, the price to have a bet on all three lotteries will be £3. The Irish Lotto is famously one of the best value lotteries in the world, and the good news is that you can bet on it online from the UK with Lottoland.

For only £3 you get three different chances to win. There's the Irish Lotto Jackpot with a minimum jackpot of £1.7 million (but whose record jackpot is £17.7 million); Irish Lotto +1 with a £900,000 top prize and Irish Lotto +2 with a top prize of £225,000. You just need to choose one set of numbers from 1 to 47 and wait to see the results of the three separate draws. It could even work out that you win two or three different prizes if some of the same numbers pop up more than once.

Around €10 million (£8.9M) in Irish Lotto prizes go unclaimed every year in Ireland, due to people losing their tickets or not bothering to check to see if they have won smaller prizes. Bet with Lottoland and you won't be part of that sorry statistic. We credit your accounts with your winnings as soon as the drawn balls have been confirmed, and we also notify you by email that you have won.

Now you've got three chances to win some fantastic prizes with the Irish Lotto, so what are you waiting for?
